Comcast is not such a great place to work. Management doesn't care when things go wrong in this market, Oregon and SW Washington. They just turn problems over to other divisions and hope they fix them. There is no accountability for anything, and I've seen one person get fired in 4 years there. There are 4 on my team of 11 that choose not to work almost everyday, and these 4 are still allowed all the shift benefits of the other 7 that work hard to pick up the slack of the 4 non-workers. I would not work for this company if there was anything better in Portland metro area right now, but there isn't. The downturn has hit Oregon hard, not that it was ever a strong job market here in the first place.
